Last week, What Now reported on the expansion of Pineapple House Boutique, the Charleston-based apparel-and-more brand, to Blackwells Corner. Named in homage to the hardware store that operated on the site for more than 75 years, until its closing in 2025, the upcoming Hanahan town center has revealed several other tenants, as well, including a new restaurant from Chef Mark Bolchoz.
Coverage by the Post and Courier described the chef’s planned Blackwell’s Corner spot as an “Italian-inspired market and wine bar.”
Earlier this month, What Now covered news of the chef’s upcoming restaurant in North Charleston, one which will “blend coastal Lowcountry traditions with the spirit of western Irish pubs, serving fish and chips alongside Guinness poured in a proper pint glass.”…
