CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A former gubernatorial candidate in South Carolina has filed a lawsuit against the City of Charleston and three police officers after a 2025 arrest, he claims, left him with a broken neck.
Mullins McLeod, who ran as a Democratic candidate for governor, was arrested last May for disorderly conduct after authorities said he caused a disturbance at the Battery.
