CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct routine inspections of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge beginning Tuesday morning.
Transportation officials said the inspections may have a minor impact on traffic and should not require simultaneous multi-lane closures.
SCDOT provided a schedule for what it called “improved visibility inspections,” starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday and wrapping up Aug. 10 at 3 p.m.
- August 4 – 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Southbound right lane
- August 7 – 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Northbound right lane
- August 10 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Northbound right lane
