CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston police arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday morning after a gun was fired near an apartment complex, prompting a nearby middle school to briefly increase security precautions.
Officers responded to the Ashley West Apartments on William Kennerty Drive after construction workers reported hearing what they believed were gunshots, according to the Charleston Police Department.
