MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) — Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to a house fire early Thursday morning on Equestrian Drive in Mount Pleasant.
Both Mount Pleasant and Charleston Fire Department crews were called to the 900 block of Equestrian Drive after receiving reports of a backyard fire.
Battalion Chief Ronnie Dubose says flames ran up the side of the home, came in through the windows and caused extensive interior damage. The most damage is to the back of the house, he said.
Dubose says a call came in around 4:20 a.m. and within 30 minutes, the flames were put out. More than a dozen emergency vehicles were in the area.
No one was hurt, Dubose said. The cause of the fire remains unknown…
