CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Whale is hosting a Watermelon Fest on Sunday featuring all-watermelon activities.
Event activities include:
- Watermelon painting
- Guests are encouraged to bring their own watermelon or buy one for a small fee at the event, while supplies last. Painting supplies will be provided for participants.
- Watermelon eating contest
- Competitors will compete to see who can eat a watermelon the fastest. Prizes will be awarded to the winner.
- Watermelon beer
- Cold watermelon-inspired beer will be offered to keep cool.
