CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Nice weather continues as we move into the afternoon and evening hours. A few clouds will start to increase later today but we still expect plenty of sunshine. We’ll gradually see more cloud cover over the next few days, but dry weather should hold through at least Saturday as temperatures continue to trend warmer. Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our next storm system of interest will approach from the west on Sunday bringing the chance of a few showers by the afternoon or evening. Rain will become likely Sunday night into Monday. Several inches of rain may be possible early in the week depending on the timing and track of the storm system.
