SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) — The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office says a man on a bicycle was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday evening.
Coroner Paul Brouthers says the crash happened at about 7:50 p.m. Saturday on East Third North Street in Summerville.
George Randall Shirar, 63, of Summerville, was hit by an unknown vehicle, which Brouthers says fled the scene. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:40 p.m…
