A two-day sweep on Clements Ferry Road resulted in 101 driving stops.

Berkeley County, S.C. – A two-day traffic enforcement drive along Clements Ferry Road has led to more than 100 vehicle stops and several citations. Officials say the operation was aimed at improving road safety and reducing risky driving behaviour in one of the area’s busy corridors.

Joint Operation to Improve Road Safety

The operation was carried out on April 20 and 21 by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Charleston Police Department and the South Carolina State Transport Police.

The main goal was to control dangerous driving habits and prevent serious accidents along Clements Ferry Road.
