Man surrenders on warrants for threats to kill family, N. Charleston Police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A man turned himself in to North Charleston police officers on outstanding warrants for threats to family members.

Denzel Terrel Wright, 32, was charged with cruelty to children and unlawful communication.

A woman reported on April 3 that he had been intimidating her son, who already had an open case with the Department of Social Services. Wright allegedly repeatedly went to her house, banged on the door and demanded to see his son.

Officers said he also left threatening messages for family members, including one that said, “I’m going to kill all of them.”…
