FIRST ALERT: Humidity levels soar today; rain returns on Thursday

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Today will be hotter and noticeably more humid than recent days!

As strong southwesterly winds move over the region, temperatures will rise into the mid-80s this afternoon. Humidity levels will gradually climb through the day.
