CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A social media post promoting a car meet-up in north Charlotte this Saturday is sparking safety concerns among neighbors who leave nearby.
The online promotion including text reading, “Everyone Invited,” comes just days after a 34-year-old woman was shot and killed at a different late-night car meet-up in west Charlotte on August 8, according to police.
While WBTV is not specifying the exact location of the promoted car meet-up this coming weekend, it is near Mallard Creek Road, where neighbors say meet-ups have disrupted their street in the past…
