Winning Powerball ticket sold at Charlotte grocery store

A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Harris Teeter on Davis Lake Parkway in Charlotte, according to lottery officials.

The Charlotte win was part of a slate of lucky tickets sold across North Carolina during Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, which also produced a $1 million winner in Elizabeth City.
