A female employee at Silfab Solar’s Fort Mill plant called 911 yesterday morning. According to the call log, the woman struggled to breathe and was ‘whimpering’ on the line.
York County Sheriff’s dispatch logged the welfare check at 7149 Logistics Lane. Officials labeled it a medical emergency. York County officials have not yet responded as to the condition of the woman.
The call came shortly after the factory restarted production.
According to insider sources, company leaders had paused manufacturing operations from August 5 to August 11. They cited temporary material and component shortages.
