CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for multiple counties in the Charlotte region on Friday afternoon.
On Friday, Aug. 14, the National Weather Service issued a thunderstorm warnings for the following counties.
- Cleveland County until 4:15 p.m. on Friday
- Gaston County until 4:15 p.m. on Friday
- Lincoln County until 4:15 p.m. on Friday
Wind gusts could reach 60 mph and could cause damage to trees and power lines. Quarter size hail is also possible.
