Give Charlotte’s new police chief the tools she needs against teen crime | Opinion

Charlotte has spent years talking about youth violence, dangerous gatherings and the increasingly common “teen takeovers” that disrupt public spaces and put both young people and everyone around them at risk. Now, our City Council has an opportunity to do something about it.

The proposed update to Charlotte’s youth curfew ordinance deserves support.
