Charlotte man sentenced nine years for school bus shooting

A 21-year-old Charlotte man was sentenced to nine years in federal prison for his role in a 2024 shootout during which a school bus was struck by gunfire.

The defendant, Paris Alonzo Lewis-Bynum, was sentenced for illegally possessing a firearm and using a firearm to further drug trafficking activities.
