Jury trial begins this week for Mount Holly man accused of killing his wife by poisoning her with eyedrops

MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. (WBTV) – Jury trial begins this week for the case against a Gaston County man accused of killing his wife by poisoning her with eye drops in September 2018.

On Sept. 8, jury trial will begin for 41-year-old Joshua Hunsucker, a former Atrium Health paramedic, who allegedly poisoned his wife, Stacy Hunsucker with tetrahydrozoline.

Tetrahydrozoline is the drug commonly found in over-the-counter eye drops and can cause heart stoppages…
