A driver with 18 pending charges was arrested over the weekend after fleeing a law enforcement checkpoint in Weddington and leading deputies on a pursuit, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Xavier Jaquan Woods is being held without bond at the Union County Detention Center on eight new criminal charges.
