The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the man killed in an officer-involved shooting on LaSalle Street and is asking a judge for permission to release body-worn camera footage from the incident.
CMPD identified the man as 47-year-old Curtis Jermaine Massey. His family has been notified of his death.
