UNION COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Union County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a reported threat involving Weddington High School as dismissal was getting underway Tuesday afternoon.
As of 4 p.m., the sheriff’s office says the threat was deemed not credible following the completion of the investigation.
Weddington High School and surrounding schools were held from dismissal during the investigation, but have since been released…
