CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Following her firing, former Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill is nominated for the A. Craig Phillips 2027 NC Superintendent of the Year award.
The honor is awarded to a superintendent who “exhibits outstanding leadership in service to K-12 schools.” The award is named after the late A. Craig Phillips, who served as the state’s Superintendent of Public Instruction from 1969-1989.
