(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good Saturday morning, welcome to the weekend! We are tracking a cold front moving in from the west this morning. It will not arrive until later this afternoon and evening, so most of the weekend starts dry.
We are quiet this morning, with temperatures in the 50s, allowing for a comfortable start to your Saturday. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid-80s under plenty of sunshine today, with clouds increasing later in the day.
Scattered showers and storms will develop across the mountains during the early afternoon hours, then advance towards the Charlotte metro during the late afternoon and early evening. If you have outdoor activities planned, it is best to get them in earlier in the day, rather than later, as storms will be more likely.
Storm chances will be hit-or-miss today, and not everyone will get a lot of rain. Some spots may see a downpour or two, while others get a few drops of rain…
