CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Catholic church in Charlotte is growing so quickly that it’s now planning to build a new facility more than double the size.
More than 6,000 parishioners attend Our Lady of Guadalupe for Mass every weekend.
At the noon Mass on Sunday, the main room was at capacity, the hallways with closed-circuit televisions were packed shoulder to shoulder, and people even stood outside the front doors to try to hear.
