Kindred, the acclaimed restaurant on Davidson’s Main Street, is temporarily closed after a small fire set off the building’s sprinkler system and soaked parts of the dining room and upstairs. Owners Joe and Katy Kindred said everyone got out safely, but the water damage is significant enough that cleanup and repairs are now the main item on the menu.
