CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Aerial footage is showing how the drought is reshaping parts of Lake Norman, revealing patches of dry land along the shoreline – areas boaters say they’re not used to seeing.
As more people head to the lake for the holiday weekend, some boaters are concerned the low water could create dangerous conditions, especially for those unfamiliar with the area.
