CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Albemarle Career Exploration Academy at Lambs Lane is finally set to open, a month after Albemarle County Public Schools got the school year started. Students will begin attending classes at the facility on Wednesday, ACPS spokesperson Jason Grant told Cville Right Now.
The building will be opening after its doors were closed through the first four weeks of the school year due to a delay in the construction. ACE Academy students have been taking classes at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Virginia’s Albemarle Campus.
Now, the building has received a temporary occupancy permit and has been authorized to hold up to 400 people. An official opening is being planned for some time in the next few weeks…
