Hamilton County deputy uses PIT maneuver to stop fleeing Georgia felon on I-24

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Detectives trying to arrest a man wanted on felony warrants in Georgia ended up in a cross-state chase Tuesday that concluded with a PIT maneuver and a long list of charges in both Tennessee and Georgia, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Warrants Unit located a suspect with active felony warrants out of Walker County, Georgia on Tuesday.
