Let’s continue exploring the North Shore neighborhood, this time heading west from Market Street along Cherokee Blvd.

According to the city’s website, Cherokee Boulevard was originally a segment of Stringers Road. Back then, Stringers Road was the main route for early 1900s travelers, horses, and trolleys leading up to and through the Stringer’s Ridge Tunnel.
