A man wanted on felony warrants in Walker County was arrested Tuesday following a cross-state pursuit that began in Tennessee and ended in Georgia.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Criminal Warrants Unit located Kennie Montieth, who was wanted on active felony warrants out of Walker County, and attempted to take him into custody.
Investigators said Montieth instead got into a vehicle and fled, leading deputies on a chase down Rossville Boulevard and onto Interstate 24. The pursuit continued west until the vehicle crossed the Tennessee-Georgia state line…
