PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Police are searching for a Portsmouth man who is wanted in multiple jurisdictions after allegedly fleeing from officers during a traffic stop earlier this month.
According to Portsmouth police, officers attempted to stop a white Volkswagen Passat on June 2 after identifying the driver as 25-year-old Brian Jamel Smith. Investigators said Smith refused to stop and drove recklessly in an effort to evade police.
