‘That’s disappointing’: Portsmouth woman’s bins used to house free mini food pantry stolen multiple times

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A Portsmouth woman is speaking out after she says the bins she uses to house her free mini food pantry keep getting stolen.

Angelica Jusino established the free mini food pantry bin in front of her home last year with the goal of helping her fellow neighbors.

“Back in November, during the shutdown, and when SNAP benefits expired, saw a lot of people were struggling, and I saw a video on TikTok about doing, like, a little mini food pantry in their front yard, and that inspired me to do my own,” Jusino said…
