CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Wargo Automotive & Machine Shop Service in Chesapeake will remain closed after a fire Sunday morning, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.
On July 12, firefighters responded to the 300 block of Battlefield Boulevard after receiving reports of smoke inside the business. When crews arrived to the scene at 3:08 a.m., they saw smoke coming from the business.
Crews found the fire inside one of the garage bays when they entered the building. Crews then deployed multiple hoselines to attack the fire, bringing it under control by 3:26 a.m…
