NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Bon Secours has begun construction on the first freestanding emergency department in Norfolk, which is set to open in late 2027.
According to a press release, the upcoming facility is designed to improve geographic access to care for patients seeking treatment for life-threatening emergencies, sudden illnesses, injuries and other urgent health needs in the city.
