NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The man accused of providing a gun to the Old Dominion University terrorism suspect plans to plead guilty, according to court documents.

10 On Your Side has been told that Kenya Chapman, who has a hearing Friday in federal court, plans to admit to selling a firearm to Mohamed Jalloh, 38, who investigators say barged into a building on campus March 12 and killed ROTC instructor LTC Brandon Shah. Two other people were injured in the shooting.
ROTC students in the class were able, along with Shah, to contain the shooter, who was “rendered no longer alive.”
The Justice Department in March charged Chapman, who authorities say sold the gun to the ODU shooter despite his previous conviction in a terrorism case.

An AP story noted that Chapman, of Smithfield, told agents in an interview that he stole the gun from a car in Newport News about a year before the shooting and had sold it for $100 to Jalloh, who he met at work.
