VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man faces charges following a shooting that occurred on July 28 in Virginia Beach.
Officers were called to the 5700 block of Norham Place for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Aug. 31, officers with the Chesapeake Police Department arrested the suspect, 20-year-old Lamontae King, during an unrelated traffic stop. He faces the following charges:
- armed robbery
- conspiracy
- use of a firearm
- aggravated malicious wounding
King is currently being held at Virginia Beach City Jail without bond…
