CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — An Elizabeth City man was charged in connection with a traffic stop resulting in a pursuit Monday in Moyock, according to the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a dark gray sedan traveling along Caratoke Highway.
During the traffic stop, the vehicle fled and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle reached a high rate of speed, and the pursuit went onto Shawboro Road where the vehicle was subsequently disabled…
