CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A shooting investigation is underway in Chesapeake on Friday.
Officers responded around 11:05 a.m. to the 900 block of Great Bridge Boulevard by the Food Lion grocery store for a report of an injured person. When they arrived, they found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim received medical aid at the scene and was taken to a local hospital.
