‘He will be proven innocent’ | Alleged Oceanfront shooter’s lawyer speaks out

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — An 18-year-old Richmond man appeared in court Tuesday in connection with a mass shooting at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront over the weekend. Prosecutors said they intend to pursue the case to the fullest extent of the law.

Isaiah Charity was arraigned on multiple felony charges related to the shooting, which authorities say left eight people injured. Charity is accused of being one of the shooters, identified through city surveillance cameras and a witness description of his clothing, according to a criminal complaint.
