HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — One person suffered minor injuries following a fire Friday evening at an apartment complex on West Pembroke Avenue in Hampton, the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue said.
Crews arrived just before 7 p.m. and found a fire on a fourth-floor balcony and started fighting it while checking for anyone inside.
The injured person was taken to the hospital, while multiple residents were displaced. The Red Cross is helping those who are affected.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating…
