HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A man was hospitalized after a shooting on Kecoughtan Road Sunday morning, according to the Hampton Police Division.
At around 2:32 a.m. on May 10, Public Safety Communications received a call regarding a shooting in the 3000 block of Kecoughtan Road. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue transported him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Major Crimes Unit’s detectives are now handling the investigation. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are under investigation, and no information on suspects can be released at this time.
