Motorcyclist dead after pursuit with Virginia State Police in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)– A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving a Virginia Beach Police car Monday morning.

According to Virginia State Police, a trooper was attempting to stop a Honda motorcycle on Interstate 264 eastbound near Rosemont Road, around 1:30 a.m., for reckless driving. The motorcycle refused to stop initiating a pursuit.
