NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Chesapeake man was sentenced Wednesday to more than seven years in prison for possessing and intending to distribute cocaine and possessing a firearm to support drug trafficking.
Deionte Deard Bratton, 44, sold cocaine, fentanyl and four firearms between Oct. 17, 2023, and Nov. 14, 2023, in four controlled purchases conducted by law enforcement officials, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. He received a seven-and-a-half year prison term.
