Man injured after argument leads to shooting on Southwest Side overnight

CHICAGO — A man is recovering in the hospital on Friday morning after police say an argument led to a shooting inside a home on the city’s Southwest Side overnight.

According to police, the shooting unfolded around 10 p.m. inside a residence in the 6500 block of South Claremont Avenue, in Chicago Lawn.

Officers said it all began after the victim, a 51-year-old man, got into an argument with a male offender inside the residence…
