The new Foster Elementary School is set for a grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday afternoon, and on Thursday, members of the media were given the chance to tour the school.
“We kind of think of this project as a rebirth,” Principal Charlise Berkel said.
According to a release from Evanston/Skokie School District 65 the school is nearly 80,000 square feet, and “can serve approximately 600 students and over 40 teachers and other staff in 24 classrooms.”
