A police pursuit ended with a suspect allegedly hiding near a country club.
At just before 11 Tuesday night, La Salle County deputies attempted a traffic stop southeast of Earlville. The vehicle allegedly drove away, setting off a pursuit. The chase led into Earlville, where the driver is accused of fleeing on foot.
Deputies say they found the driver, 45-year-old Julian Murray of Chicago, hiding in the wooded area next to the Earlville Country Club after he fled. He was taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained in the foot chase…
