An Old Town man walked into his neighborhood police station and surrendered after seeing his picture broadcast across the news media as the person CPD was looking for following an attack on two CTA passengers this month, court records show.
Calvin Lockett, 35, is charged with three counts of aggravated battery in connection with the August 11 incident at the Fullerton Red Line station.
On August 20, CPD issued a community alert that included two pictures of an assailant who allegedly approached a 27-year-old man aboard a train and punched him in the face from behind.
