FLORENCE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Florence police officer has a long road to recovery ahead after breaking up a fight.
According to family members, Brayden Shobe went down while breaking up a bar fight. He’d been assaulted and suffered life-changing injuries, including an intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, a separate blood clot, and an occipital fracture.

Shobe is being carefully monitored at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
“The process has been slow and delicate due to the fragility of his injuries, and his length of stay in the hospital is still unknown,” a GoFundMe campaign reads.
