CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) – A man from Ohio pleaded guilty to use of a communication facility to facilitate a drug trafficking crime that took place in West Virginia.
According to a press release from the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), in accordance with court documents and statements made in court, 28-year-old Dondre Hudson, of Cincinnati, Ohio, picked a package up in Dunbar, WV, that contained methamphetamine (meth) and then delivered the package to a place in St. Albans, WV.
As part of the guilty plea, Hudson admitted that he was aware that a controlled substance was inside the package. He also admitted that he used a cell phone to talk with another person, who told him where to the package was to be delivered. Hudson further admitted that the person with whom he talked with was a co-conspirator in a scheme that involved trafficking meth.
