‘She wasn’t just a daughter’: Family seeks justice for victim in Walnut Hills shooting

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – It was an emotional day for the family of Diamond Rice Wednesday as jury selection began seven months after her death.

The 33-year-old Baltimore native was shot and killed on a Walnut Hills street in February, after an argument with her partner.

The family hopes a verdict will give them some closure, but the pain of losing their daughter is still very raw…
